Teaching and Training

We are a Training Practice and you may see a doctor who is with us for additional training. These doctors are fully qualified and experienced in hospital medicine and will have 2-4 years excperience working as a Doctor already. They are now specialising their training to become GPs.

During a registrar’s time with us, they learn the special circumstances of general practice and we aim to prepare them for a fulfilling future as a GP.

We currently have 3 registrars:

  • Dr Lauay Hassan
  • Dr Marrion Abong
  • Dr Nisha Sivalingam

Trainers: Drs. Belcher and Alam

Associate Trainers; Drs Cheung and Gleeson

All registrars are supervised by one of our GP Partners or Salaried GPs and fully debriefed after each clinical session.

Other types of Teaching and Training

Every year we host year 4 medical students from Cambridge University for placements so they can see what it is to work in General Practice. We have multiple groups who spend a couple of weeks at a time here being supervised by our GPs or observing our nurses, pharmacists, care home ward rounds and many other aspects of General Practice.

We will always ask if you are happy to be seen by one of our medical students before making an appointment with them.

We are also registered to take nurse student placements from 2 local universities.
