Clinical Pharmacists

Portmill Surgery is lucky to have 2 Clinical Pharmacists that work in the surgery. Andrew and Josh work as part of a team of 6 Clinical Pharmacists across the PCN. You may be booked in with one of them for a telephone call, face to face appointment or they may look at your medications and adjust prescriptions for you based on recommendations from other clinicians, like hospital consultants. They carry out structured medication reviews and some annual reviews, such as those for Atrial Fibrilation.

Andrew is working towards his Independant Prescriber qualification and his special interest is in hypertension.
